15K Road Race

The Boilermaker 15K is the premier event of Boilermaker Weekend. This world-renowned race is often referred to as the country’s best 15K. The Boilermaker 15K, which sets the standard for race management, is recognized for its fun, its entertaining yet challenging course, and its post-race party at the F.X. Matt Brewing Company.

With 3 ice and water stops at every mile, strong attention to medical detail and crowd support like no other race, the Boilermaker 15K is an event worth training for.

International Mile

Date:	Sunday, July 13th, 2008
Start Time:	8:00am
Price:	Entry postmarked by June 10th, 2008 - $30.00 Entry postmarked by June 11th – June 30th, 2008 - $40.00 No race day registration.
Packet Pickup:	Health and Fitness Expo Friday, July 11th and Saturday, July 12th
Chips:	Each participant is responsible for the return of their chip. A replacement fee will be charged if the ChampionChip is not returned.
Start Location:	ECR International 2201 Dwyer Avenue Utica, NY
Distance & Course:	The course is 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) USATF recertified in 2006. The course is marked in kilometers and miles with over twenty official water and aid stations. Streets are closed to traffic for 2 hours and splits are given every mile and at 5K and 10K markers. Click Here For More Course Details
Pre-Race Shuttle Buses:	Free shuttle buse service is available to the 15K start. The shuttle buses are located at: Near the finish line at the corner of Court and State streets. Near the rear of the Post Race Party area on Whitesboro Street. * Buses begin running at 6:00am and stop running to the starting line at 7:15am. Please arrive early.
Post Race Shuttle Buses:	Free shuttle bus service is available after the race. These buses take 15K runners back to the 15K starting line area. The shuttle buses are located on Whitesboro Street at the rear of the Post Race Party. Buses will run until 1:00pm.
Safety:	For the safety and enjoyment of all Boilermaker contestants, the course is restricted to registered runners, wheelchair division athletes, and official race personnel. Dogs, skateboards, in-line skates, roller skates, bicycles, walkers, and baby joggers/strollers are prohibited. We also strongly discourage the use of headphones.
